Intellectual Property Rights Cell
Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) is concerned with the protection of tangible and intangible property. It provides rewards and recognition to inventor/contributor for their research, designs, discoveries, inventions, etc.
University IPR and Research Cell was established to quest bridge between academic activities and ever-dynamic requirement of the university and industry. This interface promotes the collaboration among academicians-industrialist to develop state-of-the–art manpower for socio economic development under the present competitive global scenario. This cell is dedicated to increase the awareness and opportunities amongst young guns to provide them competent career choices. Moreover, this Cell arranges various activities like IPR awareness workshop, Industry Training program, Industrial cum research Projects, Industrial Visits, Guest Lectures, Workshop, Conferences, Seminars, Case Studies and Research Work. The cell has already filed more than 30 patents/copyrights. The IPR and Research Cell strive to fulfill the objective of making SGVU Jaipur recognized as a global leader in research and education.
The IPR and Research Cell seek to leverage the traditional strengths of SGVU and to acquire and develop new strengths. In particular, it seeks to nurture large groups of faculty working on transformational technologies that have the potential to address the societal challenges faced in India today with regard to water, energy, healthcare, housing, education, agriculture, irrigation, digitization etc. Industry and government funded research and development is a major component of this effort.
