Objective
Prof. Raj Mehta, Vice Provost, Prof. Piyush Swami, Emeritus Professor, Prof. Milind Jog,
Professor College of Engineering and Applied Science and Ms Cory Smith, Assistant Director
from University of Cincinnati, USA visited Suresh Gyan Vihar University, Jaipur India during
October 3-4, 2017. During their visit, the members interacted with Prof. D Buddhi, President,
Suresh Gyan Vihar University (SGVU), Dr Vijay Vadehra, Pro-President, SGVU, Directors,
Deans, Principals, Faculty members and students of SGVU.
The members discussed and agreed for a formal framework for future collaboration. These
discussions include:
- the identification of disciplines which may result in collaborative programmes
between both the universities, namely, Management & Business, Engineering &
Technology, Pharmacy, Hotel Management, Education, Renewable Energy, Climate
Change, Natural Resources Liberal Arts and Applied Science subject areas;
- the establishment of systems and procedures in order to support and administer the
areas identified;
- the management of quality assurance processes;
- the collaboration in teaching, learning, research and knowledge transfer which are
mutually beneficial to both universities;
- faculty development and training programs for the faulty members of both
universities;
- faculty collaboration programs between both the universities;
- students’ mobility and curriculum development in the identified areas;
- to have joint research projects in the areas of mutual interest;
- to organize joint workshops, seminars and conferences
