B.Tech in Electrical Engineering

B.Tech. is Four years duration UG Degree course. Electrical Engineering is a 4- year (8 semesters) Graduation Degree course which awarded degree of Electrical Engineering in India. The course was designed to meet the growing demand for qualified engineers in the field of Electrical Engineering. Electrical Energy being the most required form of energy for development works its importance can never be ruled out. It mainly deals with the principles of conversion of various forms of energy in electrical energy right from understanding various principles and their uses at laboratory and industrial level. This branch covers all aspects of generation of electrical energy to its utilization in various fields of industry and human life covering economy, controls and safety aspects. Many inter-disciplinary fields of interest have also evolved around this branch of Engineering. B.Tech in Electrical Engineering course content covers: Humanities and social sciences (6%), Basic sciences (14%), Engineering subjects (11%), Professional subjects (core) (47%), Professional subjects (Electives) (11.5%), other electives (2%) & Project work (8.5%).
