Gyan Vihar School of Applied Sciences & Agriculture started in the year 2003 with post graduate program in Biotechnology. The very next year it expanded its horizon by adding M.Sc. programmes in Microbiology and Biochemistry in its school. Constant updation of the syllabus, rich infrastructure, state-of-art laboratories, eminent and educated faculty, Wi-Fi connectivity, best padegogy made the school of bioscience a popular choice of the students of the country. Round the year students are engrossed in the studies through semester scheme in the two year post graduate program. Continuous monitoring and up gradation of the students is done by weekly tests, Powerpoint presentation and mid term examination. For the exposure of the students to production and management at industrial level, Gyan Vihar School of Science regularly organizes industrial visits to several Food, Drug, Dairy and alcohol producing industries. Every year several students get anchored at handsome packages by different biotech, microbiology and biochemistry industries through our placement activities. School of Science believes in not just developing achievement oriented skills but also developing humane values in students. This is reflected in various sports, education and cultural activities that are organized in every session as participation in such activities develop team spirit ,unity, cooperation etc.
