The Department of Computer Applications, a University department dawn youngest in campus of Suresh Gyan Vihar University, Jaipur bifurcated from the Department of Information Technology, has been instilled with blooming bunch of cohesive group working towards attaining global excellence in academics and research. Innovation, orientation and an ever expanding base serve as a firm foundation for the edifice for the latest development in the Department of Computer Application. The Department of Computer Applications being an imperative part of the Suresh Gyan Vihar University is one of the most renowned Departments for higher education. The Department was established in the year 2006 with the objective of providing quality education to all. Apart from ‘Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA)’ & ‘Master of Computer Applications (MCA)’ courses, this department also running the highly technical and research oriented ‘Master of Technology (M.Tech (CSE)) Part-Time’ program. The course is designed to meet the growing demand of qualified professionals in the field of Computer Software and Information Technology. The Department is imparting the required technical and practical knowledge to the students. The Department has well equipped laboratories with the latest devices and equipments. The Department makes ceaseless efforts to ensure that knowledge of the faculty is also updated regularly by arranging Seminars, Faculty Development Programs in the college.
